Jeff Lee, MBA
Jeff is passionate about helping clients uncover and achieve their personal and financial aspirations. Seeing two opposite approaches to decision making around money from his parents, Jeff is focused on the behavioral aspects of his client’s financial life management and helping uncover inherent biases.
At Advus, Jeff builds foundational relationships with clients to help them better understand their needs and goals, then works to implement an ongoing plan and process to support them. He enjoys making the complex comprehensible.
Before joining Advus, Jeff focused on sustainable investing, working as vice president of Capital Markets at CommonGood Capital for several years. There, he supported financial advisors in placing capital for high-net-worth clients as well implementing ESG strategies within their firms. Earlier he spent several years in alternative investments as an internal wholesaler at CNL Securities. He began his career as an investment specialist at Merrill Lynch.
Jeff received his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, where he also received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Journalism and Communications.
Jeff holds the Chartered Sustainable Responsible Impact Investment Counselor (CSRIC) certification from the College for Financial Planning. He is active in the community as a life member of the University of Florida Alumni Association, a member of the Lifework Leadership Class of 2020.
Jeff lives in Orlando with his beautiful wife, Jessie, who is a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant at Orlando Health. He spends his free time playing sports, traveling, reading, watching Florida Gator athletics, and enjoying all the benefits the Sunshine State has to offer.
